Hosted by Amanda Dorolek, CPA

Meet Amanda

I’m Amanda Dorolek, a New York–licensed CPA with 15 years of experience, a registered Investment Adviser Representative (IAR), and a former New York State tax auditor with 17 years of experience inside the tax system.

Today, I help U.S. citizens living abroad navigate the tax, financial, and strategic decisions that come with creating a life outside the United States. I understand this life professionally, but I also live it.

I’m a former New York resident, a mom of four, and a worldschooling parent now living in Costa Rica in a beautiful mountain valley intentional community that welcomes and hosts worldschooling families.

My focus goes far beyond simply asking, “How do we handle the taxes?”

I’m interested in the whole family and the whole life you’re building: taxes, money, business, investing, education, freedom, community, and creating a sustainable life abroad.

For our family, moving abroad has also been an opportunity to slow down, detox from some of the noise and pressure of modern life, reconnect with each other, and become more intentional about how we live, learn, work, and spend our time.

That philosophy is behind these calls.

Bring your questions about U.S. taxes abroad, money, business, investing, banking, residency changes, worldschooling, and the financial realities of international family life. We’ll have practical conversations, share what we’re learning, and help families think more strategically about the lives they’re creating.

These group calls are for general educational purposes and do not constitute individualized tax, legal, immigration, investment, or financial advice. Individual circumstances vary and may require advice from an appropriately qualified professional.

Bring your coffee, your questions, and the messy middle.
